Sailor Piece Early Game Guide: Starter to Boss Island

Complete early game walkthrough for Sailor Piece. Islands in order from Starter to Boss Island (level 0-1500+), quests to complete, bosses to defeat, and how to prepare for mid-game content.

Early Game Overview

The early game spans levels 0–1500 and covers Starter Island, Sailor Island, Jungle Island, Desert Island, and Snow Island. It introduces every core game system including fruits, swords, races, and Haki. Most players spend 30–50 hours progressing through these islands before transitioning to Boss Island (1500+) and beyond.

Starter Island (0-50)

Starter Island: Complete all tutorial quests. They teach the quest interface, inventory, and fruit mechanics. Don't skip—they give solid bonus XP. Pick up a Wooden Sword from the merchant. Spin for your first fruit at the Fruit Dealer (50 Gems or 15,000 Cash). This island introduces the basics—spend time learning combat mechanics before moving on.

Sailor Island (50-500)

Sailor Island is the largest early-game zone with scaling enemies from level 50 to 500. The boss Jinwoo resides here and drops the Jinwoo Sword. Complete all available quests for bonus XP and Cash rewards. This island is ideal for AoE fruit leveling due to good mob density. Upgrade your sword to Katana when available.

Jungle & Desert Islands (250-750)

Jungle Island (250+) introduces mid-game NPC quests and contains Ancient Puzzle Piece #2 for the Dungeon unlock. Desert Island (750+) is home to the Observation Haki Master NPC — learning Observation Haki here costs 250,000 Cash + 300 Gems and is a key progression step. Both islands also contain ancient puzzle pieces needed later for the Rune Dungeon.

Snow Island & Boss Island (1500+)

Snow Island (1500+) houses the Armament Haki Trainer (250,000 Cash + 250 Gems + quest), the artifact system, weapon upgrade station, and Ancient Puzzle Piece #4. Getting Armament Haki here is essential for progression. Boss Island (1500+) is where you begin summoning bosses like Saber, Ichigo, Gilgamesh, and Qin Shi using Boss Keys and currency — this is the gateway to mid-game content.

Early Game Boss Guide

Jinwoo (Sailor Island, 6M HP): Drops Abyss Edge, Dark Ring, and Shadow Heart. A solid early boss that teaches you boss mechanics — respawns every ~6.5 minutes. Yuji (Shibuya Station, 3.75M HP): Drops Energy Core (25%), Flash Impact (9%), and Divergent Pulse (4%). Saber (Boss Island, summoned): Your first summonable boss — requires 1 Boss Key + 100K Cash + 175 Gems. All bosses respawn on timers or can be re-summoned.

Preparing for Mid-Game

Checklist before transitioning to Boss Island (level 1500+): Armament Haki unlocked (recommended). A decent sword (Jinwoo Sword or better). At least a Rare fruit or higher. Good stat allocation focused on your build path. Stock up on Cash for equipment purchases at Boss Island and beyond. Consider getting the Enchant NPC upgrades at Shibuya Station once you reach level 3000.
