Sea 2 Weapon and Spec Route
Sea 2 changed the endgame route because players now need to decide between new swords, new melee specs, and older S+ gear that still competes. The safe planning flow is simple: choose whether your main damage comes from Sword or Melee, pick one target, then farm the linked boss or Sea Beast route. Switching targets too often wastes codes, keys, and private server time.
Dragon Goddess and Great Mage
Dragon Goddess is the Sea Beast sword route. It connects to Kraken, Sea Serpent, bounty scaling, Dragon Queen title chasing, and luck setups. Great Mage is the boss-material sword route and connects to Great Mage boss farming and Ancient Mage progression. SwordBlessed is the clearest race pairing if you are committing to sword-first Sea 2 progression.
Dragon Goddess route
Start with Kraken and Sea Serpent pages, then compare the Swords Tier List before investing a long farm. Use Dragon Goddess if your build already supports long Sea Beast fights and you can keep enough uptime to justify the farm.
Great Mage route
Great Mage is cleaner for players following the Great Mage boss chain. It is still an endgame target, but the route is easier to reason about than a broad Sea Beast loop because the material source is more specific.
Cosmic Being, The World, Frieren, Castorice
Sea 2 melee specs are mostly boss or event-route decisions. Cosmic Being is the world-boss route. The World is the Bizarre Island route tied to The World boss and Primordial Bloodline. Frieren and Castorice are tracked as Sea 2 update specs, but always verify current availability before committing, especially for event-linked content. Galevorn is the clean race pairing for melee-heavy farming.
Build Priority
For sword routes, prioritize Sword stat, survivability, and Sea Beast boss uptime. For melee routes, prioritize Melee stat, a stable race such as Galevorn, and the boss chain that unlocks your target spec. In both cases, use active codes before long farming sessions and add Relics, Bloodlines, and Infinite Tower upgrades after the base route is stable.
