Sailor Piece King Update Routes

The King Update is not one grind. It splits into three route families: Light V2 Raid, Gilgamesh V2, and Frost Empress Sword. Pick one route first, save route-specific materials, and avoid spending fragments before the live game UI confirms the requirement.

Route Priority Cards

Light V2 Raid

Best for
Fruit mains, raid players, and fast travel users who already rely on Light.
Start when
Start after you can safely enter the current endgame route and survive raid boss mechanics.

Do first

  • Redeem KINGUPDATEHASARRIVED and RAIDUPDATENOW.
  • Find the Light Raid NPC once the current server exposes the route.
  • Farm Light Guardian for Light Fragment progress.
  • Check the live game UI before spending fragments or gems.

Avoid

  • Do not copy 1B Gems / 1000M Gems launch display numbers.
  • Do not treat Light Halo stats or Bearer of Light bonus as known yet.

Gilgamesh V2

Best for
Melee mains who want the new King of Heroes route and fifth move path.
Start when
Start after reaching Gilgamesh Island and confirming the post-hotfix requirement display.

Do first

  • Farm the new Gilgamesh Boss route.
  • Bank Gate Fragments until the V2 and fifth move UI confirms spend order.
  • Unlock base Gilgamesh V2 before chasing fifth move extras.
  • Keep old Gilgamesh route notes separate from the V2 route.

Avoid

  • Do not treat third-party Lapis Core counts as final.
  • Do not spend Gate Fragments before the route UI confirms the target step.

Frost Empress Sword

Best for
Sword mains who want the newest sword route and fifth move path.
Start when
Start after reaching Frost Empress Island and preparing enough defense for repeated boss loops.

Do first

  • Farm Frost Empress Boss.
  • Save Soul Fragments until the game UI confirms each spend.
  • Save Bankai Essence because the official log confirms its obtainment but not the exact spend order.
  • Unlock the base sword before chasing fifth move requirements.

Avoid

  • Do not publish drop percentages from a single route guide.
  • Do not assume Frost Scarf stats or Frozen Monarch bonus without source proof.

Light V2 Raid Route

Light V2 is officially tied to Light Raid, Light Guardian, Light Fragments, Light Halo, Light Aura, and Bearer of Light title. Counts and costs stay pending because launch cost reports conflict with official bug notes.

Gilgamesh V2 is the official King Update melee route. The confirmed layer is Gilgamesh Island, Gilgamesh Boss, Gate Fragments, V2 obtainment, and fifth move obtainment.

  • Gilgamesh Island and Gilgamesh Boss.
  • Gilgamesh V2 and Gilgamesh V2 Obtainment.
  • Gilgamesh 5th Move Obtainment.
  • Gate Fragments.
  • June 15 hotfix says incorrect King of Heroes V2 requirement display was fixed.

Third-party watch

  • Third-party route guides mention Lapis Cores and Gate Fragment counts.
  • Those material counts are not official yet and should be checked in-game before being treated as final.

  • Exact Gate Fragment count.
  • Exact gem or material costs.

Frost Empress Sword Route

Frost Empress is the official King Update sword route. The confirmed layer is Frost Empress Island, Frost Empress Boss, Frost Empress Sword, fifth move, Soul Fragments, and Bankai Essence.
