With a 1.30x damage multiplier, Overdrive effectively amplifies all your outgoing damage — including basic attacks, devil fruit moves, and sword skills — by that factor. Compared to a Common trait (roughly 1.10x), this translates to a significant DPS advantage in both PvP and PvE scenarios. Higher multipliers matter most against tanky opponents or bosses with large HP pools.

The 1.35x defense multiplier scales your total defense stat, directly reducing incoming damage per hit. In sustained fights and boss encounters, this translates to substantially more time alive — enabling more damage rotations and reducing potion consumption during grinding sessions.

A 10% cooldown reduction means your abilities come back faster after each use. For move-heavy builds (devil fruits or multi-skill sword styles), this directly increases your sustained DPS by allowing more casts per minute — especially impactful on moves with 8–15 second cooldowns.
