A new Mythic race added in the Ice Update (April 8, 2026). Luckborn provides the highest Luck bonus of any race (+35%), making it exceptional for farming rare drops from the new Frost Boss. Also boosts Sword Damage and Melee Damage, making it versatile for combat builds.

Ability Progression
Upgrading Luckborn through each version unlocks progressively stronger bonuses. V1 provides the foundation — the core passive that defines this race's identity. Each subsequent upgrade amplifies those bonuses and introduces new mechanics.
Starting point. +35% Luck This is available as soon as you roll or obtain Luckborn, with no upgrade cost required.
First upgrade. +15% Melee Damage Also grants: +90% Max HP. Completing the V2 upgrade is recommended as soon as possible since the improvement in combat power is significant.
Second upgrade. ⚠️ Not publicly documented in current web sources (2026-04-09) — in-game verification required V3 is where most races hit their stride for mid-to-late game content.
Ultimate upgrade. +80% Damage (General, total stat confirmed 5-source); specific v4 passive ability not yet documented online V4 is the final and most powerful tier, reserved for endgame players who have maxed their progression. Only a subset of races have a V4 upgrade path.
Best Playstyle for Luckborn
Sword Build: Luckborn is purpose-built for sword-oriented playstyles. Stack your Sword stat and equip the highest-grade sword you have access to. The sword damage multiplier from this race directly amplifies every sword move, making it one of the best races for players who main a sword build in both PvP and boss farming.
Farming & Drop Hunting: Luckborn is particularly valuable for farming runs due to its Luck Multi or EXP/Money bonuses. Use this race when grinding bosses for rare drops — the increased luck directly improves drop rates on low-chance items. Pair with a Kitsune fruit or lucky accessories for stacking effects.

How to Obtain
Race Reroll (Mythic tier, very rare). Added in Ice Update (April 8, 2026).
Obtaining Tips:
- ‣This is a Mythic-tier race with an extremely low roll probability (approximately 0.05–0.1%).
- ‣Use Race Reroll items to re-randomize your race. Stock up on these items from in-game shops or boss drops.
- ‣The Kitsune race's +25% Luck Multi can increase your chance of rare drops when farming for Reroll items.
- ‣Some Mythic races can also drop from specific endgame bosses — check the boss drop tables for details.
