Ability Progression
Upgrading Sunborn through each version unlocks progressively stronger bonuses. V1 provides the foundation — the core passive that defines this race's identity. Each subsequent upgrade amplifies those bonuses and introduces new mechanics.
Starting point. +80% Max HP This is available as soon as you roll or obtain Sunborn, with no upgrade cost required.
First upgrade. +70% DMG Also grants: +3% Lifesteal. Completing the V2 upgrade is recommended as soon as possible since the improvement in combat power is significant.
Second upgrade. 10% DMG Reduction Also includes: Sunborn radiance passive. V3 is where most races hit their stride for mid-to-late game content.
Ultimate upgrade. Solar Ascension: full stat burst for 30 seconds V4 is the final and most powerful tier, reserved for endgame players who have maxed their progression. Only a subset of races have a V4 upgrade path.
